    The EVENTS MARKETING MANAGER will be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of corporate and customer events that drive brand awareness and generate sales pipeline for Imperva.

    Candidates should possess a strong understanding of EVENT MANAGEMENT AND B2B MARKETING, with a strong background in SECURITY AND CLOUD INDUSTRY tradeshows, local events, customer events and user groups.  They should know how to develop, communicate and execute against EVENT PLANS that deliver high quality experiences and achieve measurable results. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to build consensus, drive to deadlines, and manage details. This role requires strong communication and relationship building skills across internal and external business partners and a passion for innovation, while maintaining a consistent focus on delivering results.

    This position reports to the Director of Corporate Marketing and works closely with individuals across the company including the sales, customer success and communications organizations—and the marketing team, including product marketing, social, brand and field marketing.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Suggest and evaluate events to attend; manage the events calendar, contractors, budget and timeline.
    • Plan, promote, facilitate and coordinate all industry trade show appearances and customer events.
    • Manage event logistics such as exhibit property determination, registration, presenters and content, a/v support, space planning, meeting room scheduling, booth services, equipment rental, signage, hotel, booth staffing, giveaways, etc.
    • Creation of Imperva branded unique customer, partner and prospect events and conferences domestically and internationally 
    • Schedule and facilitate pre and post-event planning meetings, including distribution of internal emails to booth staffers and speakers regarding event-specific logistics. Keep team on schedule and informed of event-related deadlines and tasks.
    • Work with the team members to advertise and promote events, including pre-event emails and social media.
    • Serve as an enthusiastic member of the event staff and lead by example.
    • Collect and share quantitative and qualitative data from trade shows and events; perform post-event ROI analysis

     

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:  

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B trade show and event planning
    • Proven experience in large-scale enterprise event track-building and execution
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Possess a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
    • Highly motivated and able to multi-task; work with a sense of urgency
    • Detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize assigned tasks
    • Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment
    • Bachelor’s degree
