POSITION SUMMARY: Imperva has an opening for a Vice President of IT / Chief Information Officer. We’re looking for a professional with a strong background in IT Applications, IT Corporate Governance and Information Security who can direct our evolving IT needs. He or she will be responsible for evaluating our existing applications, technology, and processes, building relationships with business leaders, & advising the executive team on the best ways to move forward with best in class solutions. You will be a pivotal leader within our company, report directly to the CFO and work closely with the CEO direct staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advise & recommend strategic alternatives for the overall Information Technology landscape to the CEO Staff. Execute on those initiatives with visibility and communications along the way.
• Set the Strategic direction for the global IT group at Imperva including teams located in Redwood Shores, CA (USA) and those in Israel
• Assume ultimate responsibility for the Cyber / Information Security / Physical Security program, ensuring best in class security posture for Imperva’s worldwide footprint
• Planning and nurturing IT staff development ensuring optimized collaboration within the IT department and between IT and other groups at Imperva
• Oversee and optimize hardware acquisitions & technology vendor negotiations with close cooperation with the facilities, purchasing and legal functions @ Imperva. Assume oversight of the IT budget planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance to best in class public company governance across the IT landscape
• Drive the top level critical business systems projects to meet the transformational business needs present at Imperva today and anticipate those of tomorrow

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Customer service focused mindset in all that is planned and executed by IT
• At least 15 to 20 years proven experience as the top-level leader of IT at technology companies
• Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure and background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
• Experience leading consolidation of business systems/processes, and experience with mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures
• Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations
• Experience with Cloud-based business systems including Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Workday, and other born in the cloud communication and business systems
• Demonstrated experience deploying company’s own products to leverage their full capabilities and provide a feedback loop to the internal product teams
• Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• BSc/BA in business, computer science, engineering or relevant field
