Internship – Software Engineering/Cyber Security - Redwood Shores, CA 

This internship will make an impact! You’ll be heavily involved in a new team and product offering, that will generally support our companies growth with next generation technologies.

This pond is small and you’ll come right in as a shark.

The Opportunity

At Imperva we are facing with the ever-evolving challenge of protecting organizations’ applications and sensitive data. Our engineering teams are constantly trying to find creative ways to halt data breaches and prevent data leakage that puts every one of us in harm’s way.

• As an intern at Imperva, you will work/learn at a high level, by being a direct member within our top performing engineering team, to help us achieve our ambitious goals to protect the most sensitive assets around the world.
• A senior engineer will help guide you during the internship, not limited to providing support, mentoring and feedback. In parallel, you will have direct access to our engineering leads.
• You will experience the full development life cycle, from building a new feature until it is launched into the product, face real engineering challenges from infrastructure and scalability to simplifying complex solutions for the end user.

Imperva is reshaping security for the cloud; you will get a hand-on experience with developing solutions at scale for companies transitioning to the cloud using the latest technologies and cloud services.

As such, the opportunity to create your future is substantial.

What we’re looking for:

• Actively working towards a degree in CS, EE, or other related field
• Can compile your thoughts into a working computer program
• Genuinely interested in how systems get hacked and prevention techniques
• Willing to get into weeds of how systems work
