SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER PAY RATE: $37.00/HOUR LOCATION: SAN DIEGO, CA DURATION: 3-MONTHS--It may be possible to extend from 3 months to a longer period, and consideration for a full-time position RESPONSIBILITIES: • Participate in daily one-on-one meetings with a Sr. Staff level software development engineer • Work jointly with the engineer to understand requirements and to enter/implement software (in C) for an *** product • Develop code to unit test implemented designs REQUIREMENTS: • Experience with software development; experience with C or C++ and/or low-level communications is desired, but not essential • Positive attitude with the ability to work well and to take direction from a more senior developer • Excellent verbal communication skills • Experience with GIT is a plus Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position.
