MARKETING ADVISOR - 1 (JUNIOR LEVEL) HOURS: 8am-5pm PAY: $25.36/Hour DURATION: 1 year contract RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a junior level/entry level assistant analyst, supporting the Marketing Intelligence, Insights, and Analytics team. Support examples include querying data, providing meaningful displays of findings, utilizing querying (ie SQL) and data manipulation techniques (ie using R-Studio or SAS) to analyze data from various SDG&E database, creating lists of customers to target for communications, or assisting with reporting of customer metrics to multiple SDG&E departments. Also, organizing and maintaining query library and the team's project tracker, among other assignments as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a completed or nearly completed bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in data science, data analytics, mathematics or social science. Previous internships with or experience with a gas or electric utility is highly desirable. • Ability to think analytically, has problem solving skills and ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly. • Business acumen, technical knowledge or use of various data manipulation and visualization applications (such as SQL, SAS, PowerBI) preferred • Social Media or Google Analytics knowledge preferred. • Excellent relationship management skills and ability to work well with the team.
