At iota Biosciences, you will be given the opportunity to substantially influence the design and success of these pioneering Class III medical implants, as the company expands the reach of its novel technology while bringing new solutions to the clinic.We are looking for an Analog IC design engineer intern for summer 2022 in our Alameda CA location. Minimum Qualifications:Pursuing Ph.D. (2nd or higher year) or Master with 2 or more years of industry experience working on Energy Transfer/Harvester circuits or any related Electrical hardware design.Proof record of previous IC design (tapeout experience is a plus)In-depth knowledge and analytical understanding of mixed-signal design techniquesSolid Knowledge of AC-DC rectifiers, DC-DC Converters, Linear Regulators, and impedance matching. (Knowledge of Ultrasound Transducers and MPPT is a plus)Experience working in Lab and familiarity with using relevant equipment.Familiar with Schematic, layout, and post-layout simulation in the cadence flow.Responsibilities:Explore cutting-edge architectures and implement circuits for the innovative biomedical ICs. Propose new architectures to help future productsDetail Schematic and Post layout simulation to ensure high-performance standardWork collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, including Physical designers, system engineers, researchers, etc.Contribute to IC bring-up of prototype systems and chipsDemonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction and juggle multiple priorities and deliver against a scheduleDocument the design and simulation result for design review
