    Job Description

    We are looking for a brilliant and creative copywriter who can create compelling, engaging, and high converting copy for paid media ads, as well as email marketing campaigns.

    Our ideal candidate is a spirited, independent, skilled, adaptable, and witty writer with a flair for details.     This position is fully remote and will involve regular weekly and monthly calls.

    Qualifications

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Develop and write copy for digital content to meet clients’ business and marketing objectives from beginning to end

    • Write, proofread, edit, and optimize digital copy of compelling materials following brand guidelines to capture audience interest

    • Understand the target audience (behaviors, interests, demographics, ICPs/personas) to develop creative messaging ad copies that generate leads and conversions.

    • Continuously capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best/accepted practices

    • Tone and content should be both creative and strategized depending on the platforms we use for the targeted audience

    • Can effectively communicate product benefits and features with attractive words that “stop the scroll”

    • Compose asset requests on the behalf of the marketing team

     

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum one (1) year copywriting experience in paid media advertising (e-commerce) or related field

    • Proven experience as a copywriter or similar role with extensive knowledge of online content strategy and creation in a digital marketing setting or similar industry

    • Proven experience in ad copies and understanding of brand guidelines for diverse clients

    • Independent with a knack for collaborative teamwork 

    • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

    • Comprehensive understanding and experience of CTA’s, metrics, and conversions

     

    MUST-HAVE

    • Clear-cut understanding of target audience and full-funnel advertising

    • Ability to take client brand, voice, or style guidelines and create copy for advertising or email campaigns.

    • Excellent and creative writing approach, both in coming up with insights for campaigns and for capturing the target audience

    • Strong interpersonal skills as you may eventually be asked to work with a range of clients

    • Systematic. Self-starter. Proactive. 

    • Laser-focused attention to detail, with the ability to proofread your own and others' work

     

    PREFERENCES (BUT NOT A MUST)

    • 1 to 2 years of experience with a digital marketing agency is a PLUS!

    • Paid Media and/or SEM qualifications, experience, and skills 

    • Experience in Google suite, CMS, and similar apps/platforms
