    Job Description

    Immediate opportunity to lead a field initiative in Philadelphia to develop relationships with uniform-required elementary schools and a national footwear retailer.  The retailer (our client) is developing these relationships to better accommodate local families, and pioneer a reciprocity agreement for each school’s fundraising efforts.  This position requires the ability to develop relationships with schools, PTA / PTO groups, retail managers and corporate personnel.  The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, have a deep knowledge of the Philadelphia community, and have an entrepreneurial spirit.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Research Philadelphia-area elementary schools with uniform requirements
    • Understand the latest styles and trends for Philadelphia-area youth (required and otherwise)
    • Establish relationships with PTA / PTO personnel and understanding fundraising efforts
    • Grow their knowledge of the community beyond just schools, but to other organizations that require uniformed shoes
    • Identify local events and community opportunities for other potential partnerships
    • Develop relationships with retail managers
    • Keep highly detailed reports and contact lists
    • Ability to locally travel within the Philadelphia area
    • Develop and maintain regular and effective agency and client communications, assuring that programs and relationships are run in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner
    • Plan, communicate and manage overall program logistics, agendas and timelines
    • Maintain and utilize database of schools

     

    Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:

    • 2-3 years of experience
    • Relationship Building/Teamwork: Maintain high level of client service, facilitate relationships with schools; contribute to business building opportunities; promote teamwork and enthusiasm
    • Organization Skills: Move projects forward to meet objectives and deadlines; anticipate challenges; manage time effectively; adhere to deadlines; exercise fiscal responsibility where applicable
    • Client Service: Inspires/gains confidence of client team; develops tactical solutions; translates clients’ input and responds effectively and efficiently to client needs
