Legacy is looking for a team of energetic, passionate, Single Malt Specialist (SMS) to represent our well-known spirits brand in local off-premise accounts. Ideal SMS will win over the store owners, managers, and customers by rolling up their sleeves, sampling and discussing the brand, and teaching all who will listen to love it like they do.

Program:

• Up to 10 hours per week – events usually take place early evenings on Thursday & Friday, and Saturday afternoon
• Competitive hourly pay rate

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Mix cocktails to sample brand at local off-premise accounts per instruction of Legacy Market Manager
• Convey key brand and industry messaging in an engaging and compelling manner
• Exceed liquor sales goals within designated market
• Promote brand to retail store owners and consumers in a professional, credible, and persuasive manner
• Seek out and report new opportunities, competitive information/activity, etc.
• Provide timely, accurate post-event reporting via an online reporting system

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Requirements:

• Prior off-premise liquor sampling experience, on-premise a plus
• Strong knowledge of liquor industry and single malt scotch category
• Contagious passion for brown spirits
• Proven sales skills, ideally within beer/wine/spirits
• Previous bar-tending and/or industry experience is a plus but not required
• Reliability, punctuality
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable access to a computer
• Friendly, professional demeanor
