    Job Description

    Depending on your talents, a day in the life could look like:

    CULTURE COPYWRITING: 

    • Interpreting data in order to tell a compelling story
    • Working with designers to complete a visual version of that story
    • Understanding and building audience personas
    • Developing internal-facing brand identities
    • Writing unique and powerful copy that connects people to their shared purpose within an organization
    • Writing a myriad of humanized internal communications

    GRAPHIC DESIGN:

    • Utilizing front-end and/or back-end graphic design capabilities
    • Identifying design needs and continuously elevating the quality of work for our clients
    • Bringing internal identities to life with design by collaborating with strategists and copywriters
    • Creating compelling internal-facing designs for internal brand identity systems, physical space designs, presentations, mood boards, and culture guides (to name a few)

    ANIMATION:

    • Animating modern videos meant to connect employees with important information about their organization, their culture, DEIB strategies, benefits, etc.
    • Interpreting storyboards and design presentations, mood boards, internal employer brand, or culture guides for animation
    • Leaning on and growing existing knowledge of current design methods, micro-learning trends, gamification, and social learning

    VIDEO EDITING:

    • Interpreting storyboards for production
    • Making proactive suggestions for the most compelling video content
    • Editing original footage, good stock footage, images, and animations to produce compelling videos with music and VO
    • Creating or updating existing video collateral
    • Voice-over capabilities are a plus!

    INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN:

    • Building and maintaining SCORM files
    • Making proactive suggestions for the most compelling learning content
    • Understanding of current best practices and emerging learning guidelines

    Aligning all of this work with the client's culture and strategic goals

    • Have a passion for DEIB, culture, experience, and the world of work and deeply care about the inclusion and wellbeing of all people
    • Possess complete knowledge and abilities in one or more of the above creative disciplines and flexibility to jump in at any phase of the project
    • Possess experience and knowledge of the tools to be successful in your discipline such as UI/UX, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat), Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop, Go Animate, etc.
    • Thrive working in a results-oriented and collaborative team setting while being extremely hands-on and agile
    • Possess a Bachelor's Degree (preferred) and a minimum of 3+ years of work experience in field within a freelance or agency setting
    • Enjoy thinking strategically to align perspectives, voices, and opinions
    • Lead with curiosity and interest in the best work product, not the easiest or fastest
