About the Role:

Saeed A Siddiqui Cardiology PC is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Office Front Desk Representative to join our dedicated team in Lynbrook, NY. This is a great opportunity to be the welcoming face of a respected cardiology practice while playing a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care from the very first interaction.

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a professional and compassionate manner

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software

Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments

Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries

Maintain and update accurate patient demographic and medical records

Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and communication with insurance providers

Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming

Requirements:

Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk setting preferred

Familiarity with medical billing, insurance verification, and EMR/EHR systems

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge of cardiology or specialty practice workflows is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative certification a plus
