    Job Description

    Responsible for conducting business development activities, managing outside sales agents, cultivating customers and opportunities, closing new business and ensure business objectives/strategies are met for the North American Region.

    Account Manager Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers to increase revenue
    • Manage, motivate, train, and provide overall guidance to outside sales representatives
    • Ownership of regional dispenser fulfillment / master distributors to simplify and facilitate smaller accounts
    • Product forecasting derived from analysis of past trends, market conditions and customer feedback
    • Regularly review account strategies and pricing with sales management
    • Identify and drive growth opportunities considering consumer requirements, market position & trends, product development and competitive analysis
    • Respond to customer and agent technical inquiries and issues, providing support or assistance as necessary
    • Schedule and prepare sales visits to customers, sales agents, and trade events
    • Meet with key clients, assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships, develop field sales action plans and negotiate & close deals
    • Determine, recommend, and implement product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
    • Ensure that products consistently meet client needs to remain competitive to retain and gain market share
    • Contribute to and implement strategic sales & marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives
    • Routinely record and report on sales opportunities and activities via CRM
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business management or related field is preferred
    • Strong technical understanding and affinity to construction/industrial products
    • Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales or customer facing experience for technical products
    • Experience and understanding of indirect distribution channels
    • CRM experience, preferably salesforce.com
    • International and intercultural understanding to work together with global colleagues
    • Analytical capability as required to review, assess, and interpret customer requirements and develop new opportunities
    • Communication and people skills, as required in working effectively with internal and external customers
    • ERP knowledge with SAP preferred
    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
