    MOMENTUM is currently hiring a front office RECEPTIONIST to greet, screen, and provide direction and information to guests and visitors. As the receptionist, you will answer calls, prepare and receive mail, and provide administrative support to the organization's corporate office.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Promotes a friendly, comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors, guests and staff
    • Answers all incoming calls, screens phone calls, directs/transfers calls to appropriate staff, and takes messages  
    • Screens and directs all guests and visitors
    • Prepares, receives, and distributes mail, packages and courier deliveries 
    • Manages conference room reservations 
    • Maintains an organized and sanitized lobby, conference room(s), copy room, and kitchen
    • Accepts and processes co-payments 
    • Organizes and maintains supply inventory
    • Opens and sorts incoming mail and interoffice correspondence
    • Assists with miscellaneous clerical support as needed
    • Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs

    RECEPTIONIST QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Must be 18 years of age
    • High school diploma or equivalent; required 
    • Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience; preferred
    • Bilingual English/Spanish; preferred  
    • Experience working for a non-profit organization; preferred 
    • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, orally and in writing 
    • Must be able to follow directions 
    • Strong attention to detail and highly organized 
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with others
    • Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
    • Ability to walk, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to thirty-five (35) pounds
    • Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California; preferred, not required
