    SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 

    MOMENTUM is hiring a HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR for our corporate office. The Human Resources Coordinator will provide assistance and support to the Human Resources department with Human Resources Information System (HRIS), file maintenance, record keeping, and other various tasks.

    HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Communicates, informs, and updates all HR issues with HR Managers and/or HR Director
    • Assumes responsibility for effectively recording, tracking, maintaining, verifying, and reporting human resources information
    • Enters HR data into HRIS system, payroll system and HR database 
    • Maintains the HR database ensuring system records are accurately documented and cross-checking
    • Creates and prepares new employee files and folders (payroll, personnel, and medical)
    • Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files
    • Manages and ensures the personnel files and records, including workers’ compensation files are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures
    • Manages and conducts verifications of employment
    • Completes miscellaneous research, reports, and memos as requested and/or required
    • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions to authorized persons
    • Knows, follows, and upholds Momentum’s policies and procedures
    • Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs

    EDUCATION AND EXPIERENCE: 

    • Must be 18 years of age or older 
    • High school diploma or equivalent; required 
    • Bachelors degree; preferred and not required 
    • Minimum of 2 years expierence in human resources role with administrative functions ; required 
    • Bilingual English/Spanish; required

     

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: 

    • Knowledge and experience in human resources processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a team
    • Knowledge of HRIS Systems and/or other related programs
    • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner and anticipate critical deadlines
    • Understanding of confidentiality within the HR department
    • Excellent internal and external customer service skills 
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to prioritize with changing situations
    • Ability to recognize and problem solve 
    • Ability to work independently and use judgement to resolve both routine and non-routine issues 
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
    • Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, sit & stand for long periods of time, and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds
    • Reliable means of transportation
