Starting Rate: $15.00/Hour 

Schedule: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday  (part-time/25 hours per week)

MOMENTUM PTN is hiring a CENTER BASED FLOATER for our Early Head Start (EHS) program. As the Center Based Floater, you will work collaboratively with the EHS site supervisor and staff to ensure all standards are met. CENTER BASED FLOATER ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Promotes a friendly, comfortable, and safe environment 
• Respects and promotes the right of individuals 
• Promotes independence, dignity, and fulfillments 
• Rotates between three (3) classrooms to provide educators with daily breaks
• Knows, follows, and upholds Momentum’s policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs

CENTER BASED FLOATER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent; required
• Early Childhood Teacher's permit; required 
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children; required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English well enough to perform essential duties and responsibilities; required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with others
• Successfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
