Are you a writer looking for a new opportunity to broaden your horizons and strengthen your skills? Are you passionate about experiencing live music? Mxdwn.com is looking for a concert reviewer to join their Los Angeles team. Mxdwn is an established online entertainment magazine that focuses on news, original reviews, features, photography and interviews. We are a leader and innovator in providing dynamic entertainment content. An essential part of what makes the magazine tick is live coverage of musical performances. We are currently adding to our team of concert reviewers in the LOS ANGELES AREA ONLY. If you are passionate about writing and music, this is the job for you. As a concert reviewer, you will attend some of the most promising live music shows passing through Los Angeles, all while building your journalism portfolio.

Qualifications

We are only looking for candidates with the availability and willingness to cover 1-2 shows minimum per week. You must be local to the Los Angeles area for this position and please note this position is UNPAID. If you are interested in becoming a part of the concert review team, please email a resume, a small personal description and any writing samples.

Required graduation year: 2016 - 2024

Additional Information

Please note that while conditions are deemed unsafe for concerts due to Covid-19, all live music writers will be reviewing live streamed shows in replacement at this time. Once conditions are safe for live, in-person concerts to resume, live coverage of shows will also resume.
