In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Revenue Accounting Intern for our Finance team located Wilmington, MA.An Internship at Charles River Labs provides real world, hands-on experience for college students looking to gain knowledge and skills required for your career field of choice, while giving you an unparalleled internship experience.  We are dedicated to ensuring our Intern population can experience the ability to Grow, Perform, and Succeed during their time on board.  The Revenue Accounting Intern will be utilized to assist the team in calculating revenue impacting journal entries in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for a $2 billion global clinical research organization.  In addition, the Intern will have the opportunity to work on a process improvement project to help Charles River Labs save time and money in a real-world environment and provide opportunities to present to small groups in a safe and encouraging environment to help build on public speaking and executive presence.The following are minimum requirements related to the Revenue Accounting Intern position.Student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s OR Master’s degree in Finance or AccountingMinimum GPA of 3.0Ability to fulfill a 6-month Intern position within the July-December 2022 time frameEffective communication and listening skills in a teamwork environmentDemonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with a strong attention to detailVaccine MandateCharles River is a U.S. Federal Contractor.  As a result, we must follow the Presidential Executive Order to mandate vaccinations, and ensure our employees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  Our main priority is the wellbeing, health, and safety of our people.
