Responsibilities:A day in the life…The Talent Development team is responsible for the recruitment and development of on-air and off-air talent. This includes programs, fellowships and initiatives that enhance and expand our talent pipelines.Assist with all aspects of development programs including fellowships, mentorship & virtual events/conference planning /coordination Assist team with social media outreach and talent engagementProvide research around Talent & organize profiles and biosData entry for new system for talent tracking / feedbackHelp with searches for freelancer producers/talent for long form unit and news divisionAccess to Talent staff meetings for his input on reel screening, etcBasic Qualifications:What you bring to the role…Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPassion for news stories & talent developmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and writing skillsStrong, detail-oriented work ethic, self-motivation and positive attitudeAdditional Information:Internship Eligibility: All students must possess unrestricted work authorization All students must be at least 18 years old All candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months - OR - be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program in order to qualify for this internship. All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
