    Job Description

    Note: This is a REMOTE-BASED POSITION with very occasional (less than 5%) travel for training or other needs. Your remote working location must have high-speed internet and allow for conversations free of background noise and distractions. JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a critical role at the top of the marketing and sales pipeline. The BDR is responsible for generating Qualified Sales Opportunities (QSO) for the sales organization through proactive outbound calling to potential and existing customers as well as timely responses to inbound, internal, and other lead sources.

    The BDR is part of the marketing organization and works closely with assigned Regional Sales Executives (RSE). A BDR must possess the desire to reach out to automotive dealership management through professional, friendly, and informative phone, email, and texting interactions.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Perform on average 50 or more outbound phone calls a day resulting in 5 or more QSOs
    • Communicate efficiently and effectively via phone, email, and text
    • Document call activity in Salesforce CRM
    • Build rapport and drive effective communication with assigned RSEs
    • Have a desire to understand and communicate the value myKaarma provides to dealerships and vehicle owners
    • Work during traditional business hours with flexibility to work in multiple time zones

    YOUR PROFILE SHOULD HAVE:

    • Previous outbound calling success
    • An understanding of automotive dealership fixed operations (service and parts)
    • Critical thinking skills
    • A desire for continuous improvement
    • The ability to self-manage and work remotely
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in computer skills related to email, internet, and word-processing

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • Familiarity and past usage of myKaarma’s solution set
    • Experience with Salesforce CRM
    • Previously spent time in a business development environment, preferably automotive
