    Job Description

    nCred is currently seeking a full time Provider Enrollment Coordinator for its Chattanooga, TN office. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 4 years of provider credentialing / enrollment experience and proven skills in project management. The position requires superb communication skills, a mature grasp of organizational hierarchy, ability to prioritize tasks and projects, with the discretion to know when to act independently and when to ask for guidance and/or assistance. This job is vital to the success of our clients and demands flexibility, a customer-focus, organization and a passion for details.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide excellent Client service by coordinating all activities required to complete the health plan enrollment/credentialing process on behalf of nCred client and ensuring each Client is kept up to date on the progress of enrollment application

    • Review setup of new client account files to ensure insurance network contracts list is accurate for the organization, all account information is properly documented, each practitioner credentialing profile is complete, and develop an account action plan to deliver services purchased

    • Process enrollment applications by investigating payor enrollment process and requirements, obtaining necessary payor forms and completing the forms for each assigned provider, complete web forms, obtaining signature pages from providers, and submit applications to payors

    • Thoroughly document all activities in the nCred system when interacting with clients, payors, facilities, or other related to credentialing functions that we perform on behalf of clients

    • Provide oversight and advice for internal and external contacts related to the provision of credentialing services for assigned client accounts

    • Play an integral role in onboarding new clients by ensuring capture of all relevant information required for accurate credentialing

    • Serve as the primary liaison between nCred and assigned client accounts

    • Interact with internal team members, providing direction where necessary, to ensure efficient delivery of credentialing services to nCred clients

    • Participate in internal meetings and provide feedback on assigned client accounts and suggestions for improvement to internal standard operating procedures

    • Review/audit provider status logs, lists, records, and current documentation required for physician/provider credentialing and recredentialing

    • Ensure support staff are properly following up with submitted applications and documenting activities

    • Verify physician/provider information for managed care plans including communication with health plan representative and other staff as necessary

    • Assist with training of new staff members as needed

    • Have a thorough understanding of company policies and processes

    • Run high level reports as necessary as well as report team results and audit findings

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

    • Ideal candidate must be highly self-motivated with a proven expertise in healthcare physician credentialing, expirables management, re-credentialing and provider enrollment

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

    • Experience with presentation of information to clients

    • Highly motivated and success-driven with the ability to implement and manage cross functional projects

    • Proficiency in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive, etc) and Microsoft Office

    • Proficiency with internet research and ability to quickly adapt to new software platforms

    • Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people (physicians, insurance companies, medical staff offices, e)

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or other related field of study

    • Minimum 2 years payer credentialing experience, or credentialing/privileging experience within a hospital environment
