LOCATION:   GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49544

WORK WEEK:  NORMAL 8-5 HOURS

Our client, a family owned Midwestern grocery/retailer that strives to better the lives of people in all communities is in need of an Android Developer.

• MVVM DESIGN PATTERN. The candidate should be able to clearly articulate this pattern and why its beneficial. The ideal candidate would have a personal GitHub project with this already implemented.
• UNIT TESTING. Candidate should have strong unit testing skills, both of UI Tests, functional tests, and overall understanding how dependency injection works with mock objects in unit test frame works. Ideal candidate has a personal GitHub page with examples
• ARCHITECTURE ( iOS / android )

Kotlin for Android

(Android ) Candidate should have experience implementing Dagger2, RxJava,Retrofit  in projects. Looking for a candidate that can explain how to architect these into a project. 

Strong understanding of how to consume data from restful APIs in code and working with complex data models while maintaining clean architecture. ( ie, separating business logic from model logic, how to unit test/mock API calls, etc )  

MODULARIZATION. How to work with various internal 1st party frameworks in the project

Should have a good understanding of Oauth and how to work with user tokens.
