 ESSBASE CONSULTANT WITH PYTHON EXP

WORK LOCATION: IT WOULD BE REMOTE NOW AND SAN ANTONIO ONCE THE CURRENT PANDEMIC SITUATION OVER

LONG TERM

Essbase Consultant:

1. Responsible for supporting the Program Finance team with operations and analytics. 
2. Build a data bridge from ESSBASE TO ORACLE DB USING PYTHON
3. Perform the function of technical architect and provide guidance to implementation team.
4. Support the preparation of presentations to senior management with recommendations for actionable outcomes based on quantification of imbedded and potential risks

Requirements:

• Must have 5 years’ + experience in designing and developing information management solutions for finance or related functions using including Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Hyperion Strategic Finance, B/S Planning, Profitability and cost analysis
• Hyperion Essbase/Planning development, automation scripting and maintenance knowledge
• Strong PYTHON scripting skills
• INSTEAD OF PYTHON, ITS OK TO HAVE JAVA PROGRAMMING SKILLS. ESSBASE WITH ANY PROGRAMMING SKILLS
• Extensive experience with Calculation Scripts, MaXL, .BAT Scripts, Calculation Manager Scripts, MDX, Load Rules, Report Scripts, Planning Form maintenance, Shared Service security, LCM, SmartView, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree in  Statistics, Computer Science or similar discipline.
