TITLE: MOBILE APP DEVELOPER

LOCATION: SEATTLE, WA

DURATION: LONG TERM

As a Mobile developer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment.

Partner with system architects, business analysts and product owners to review and understand business requirements, recommend technical solutions for extensions or customizations to mobile applications.

Translate Business Requirements into Technical Specifications.

Provide level of effort estimates for the Technical Specifications.

Develop API’s to support mobile functionality and ensure code is written according with documented software development processes and standards.

Perform systems maintenance to update data, integrations, and applications.

Provide day to day support, training to business users and customers to resolve issues related to mobile applications.

Creates, maintains and reports operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on items such as performance, service incidents and tickets set forth by the organization leadership.

Identifies systemic problems that need holistic solutions and feedback into platform roadmap exercises.

Keeping up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps

1              Proven work experience as a Mobile developer; Assist in refining and enhancing mobile architectures and frameworks

2              Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store

3              Working closely with colleagues to constantly innovate app functionality and design

4              Evaluate requests for new and modifications to applications/programs/processes/maps.

5              Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

6              Liaise with Product development team to plan new features

CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE OR OTHER

                What must the successful candidate know how to do…

1              Experience in the design & development of mobile applications for iOS using platforms such as Xamarin, React Native and Native Script, RX JS, Type Script, JSON, Ionic, Cordova Phone gap or similar platforms

2              Must have contributed significantly to at least two mobile applications and be able to describe those contributions

3              Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code. Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions

4              Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols

5              Accustomed to working with aggressive project timelines

PERFORMANCE TRACK RECORD

1              iOS: 3 year (Preferred)

Ionic framework: 2 year (Required)

Objective-C for iOS (Required)

.Net: 3 year (Required)

JSON: 3 Year (Required)

RX JS: 2 Year (Required)

Type Script: 1 Year (Required)

Xamarin: 1 year (Preferred)

Cordova: 1 year (Preferred)

Native app development experience

2              Other web development expertise including .NET and LAMP is a plus

3              Experience in JavaScript, Angular

4              Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent + 2 years of relevant experience

5              Experience of validating mobile apps for hosting on App Store.

6              Proven track record of using design patterns and best practices to serve business needs in an efficient manner so as to increase IT bandwidth for new functionality

7              Should have 4-6 years of total IT experience
