JOB SUMMARY
Introductory Engineering Position exposing candidate to CLR Production Field Operations through immersion at the field level. Employee will initially report to field leadership in Watonga and function in a development position to gain experience as an Operator, Production Tech, and Foreman to better understand the field operation personnel’s’ roles, and also to better understand the day-to-day challenges that these individuals face to provide a frame of reference for making impactful engineering changes and/or suggestions once in a full-time Engineering position. Engineer will be exposed to various forms of workover operations and remediation operations as those are available.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with field operations in a combination of roles with increasing amounts of responsibility
Monitor production operations, costs and profitability
Provide recommendations to improve profitability through strategic capital or expensed workover financial deployment
Observe and communicate offset activity, and the differences noted between CLR and other’s operations
Design and implement facility and well workover plans and procedures
Generate and review AFE's for capital expenditures
Review all expenditures for properties within a specified area
Analyze and troubleshoot production problems and directs actions to be taken
Gain knowledge of current facility layout, and select equipment to be utilized or trialed to improve performance
Assure compliance with governmental requirements and company policies
Attend beneficial training to gain knowledge of Production Operations
Provide expert testimony for regulatory hearings
Understand production chemical usage and optimization for cost control
