  • Responsibilities

    This role is responsible for interpreting S&OP requirements and creating a Master Schedule of requirements for CWFL products.  This Master Schedule will drive Demand Planning requirements for all CWFL materials in support of the manufacturing process. Additional responsibilities will include developing an inventory planning strategy for key components as well as monitoring capacity constraints as part of being the focal point for Clear to build analysis in support of production planning. Duties may also include Work order management and some purchasing activity.

    The ideal candidate will have experience and proven track record in a similar role supporting a challenging, high velocity/rate-of-change environment with a rapid rate of new product development.  You need to possess a strong drive for success, individual accountability, and the interpersonal skills to thrive within a high-performing team. . PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

    • Creation and management of the master schedule in support of CWFL products.
    • Production scheduling in direct support of customer demand priority and inventory management goals
    • Development, coordination and execution of shipping schedules driving to on time delivery per customer request date and nLight commitment.
    • Create Production Schedule in support of Path Finder and Lean initiatives  as defined.
    • Development of an inventory planning strategy for key components as well as monitoring capacity constraints.
    • Focal point for Clear to build analysis in support of production planning ensuring no impediments to manufacturing.
    • Direct Work order management and potentially some purchasing activity.
    • Work closely with supply chain and manufacturing team to ensure clear understanding of plans and issues as they arise.to minimize impact.
    • Maintain an effective supply chain, and act as the first level of escalation when a potential supply disruption is identified.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Recent and relevant experience with supply chain, scheduling or S&OP process
    • BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
    • Hands-on, detail oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Demonstrated competence in addressing and resolving supplier and supply constraints
    • Competence with an ERP/MRP systems, Excel (highly competent), Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications
    • Must possess a strong sense of customer service and related urgency

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Competence with Microsoft Dynamics AX
    • APICs certifications
    • LEAN Training/certifications
