    Position: Forensic Accountant

    Location: Orlando Area

    Salary: $70,000 - $105,000 DOE + bonus, full benefits, great PTO, and 401K

    Our client is a fast growing, mid-sized public accounting firm with close to 50 employees who has been serving Central FL for years. Due to double digit, year over year growth, they are looking for a talented Forensic Accountant who is interested in building out our litigation support practice. Someone with divorce litigation or business valuation experience would be a perfect fit for this position.

    Responsibilities

    • Financial Analysis and Investigation: Conduct thorough financial analyses and investigations to identify and trace assets, income, and expenses related to divorce cases. This includes reviewing financial documents, identifying discrepancies, and calculating income and asset values.
    • Financial Report Preparation: Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to support divorce litigation cases.
    • Asset Tracing and Valuation: Trace and value assets, including businesses, real estate, investments, and other complex financial assets, to determine their value and distribution in divorce cases.
    • Spousal and Child Support Calculations: Calculate spousal and child support obligations based on financial data and applicable laws and regulations.
    • Client and Attorney Support: Work closely with clients and attorneys to understand case requirements, provide financial guidance, and develop effective litigation strategies.
    • Case Management and Organization: Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized and detailed records of case files and financial data.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Forensic Accountant (CFA) designation or (ABV) Accredited in Business Valuation is strongly preferred
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in forensic accounting, with a focus on divorce litigation or business valuation.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools
