We are partnered is a global leader in the Agriculture industry; they are currently seeking a full time Senior Staff Accountant (Cost Accounting) to join their team! This is an onsite position located in the Bakersfield, CA area. 

Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 + GREAT benefits 

Essential Job Duties:

• Assist with crop cost management including std rates, raw product entries, review/analyze farming overhead, water allocations, all farming inventories, planting/listing entries, other farming operation related entries and other duties
• Ad hoc analysis and report compilation as needed

Qualifications:

• Four-year Accounting Degree required from an accredited College/University
• Three to five years of experience in related cost accounting 
• Ideal candidate needs to possess solid accounting knowledge and experience
• Experience with BI reporting tools with a basic understanding of database structure and SQL functions preferred
• Must have experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ten-key proficient required along with the ability to operate other office equipment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be analytical, organized and detail oriented.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen and background check
