A very well respected Electrical Contractor in Northern AZ is looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to work on a 3 year project in the Grand Canyon. This is a unique and interesting project and an opportunity to join a growling company that has been in business for over 70 years!
*** The project is in the Grand Canyon. My client will relocate you and/or provide a generous per diem. The work schedule is 8 days on and 6 days off. ***
Duties and responsibilities – You will be a top supervisory role for our construction sites.
- Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and subcontractors
- Recruiting, training, managing and mentoring employees and subcontractors
- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, tools and procedures
- Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites
- Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
- Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials
Qualifications:
- Must be able to relocate or travel. We assist in relocation or will provide you with a generous per-diem
- 5 years of Supervising projects
- Electrical Construction experience
- Industrial Construction experience
- Must have a proven track record of successfully leading a singular project scope or multiple project scopes with high complexity, ranging in value up to $5M for a minimum of 3 years.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code, troubleshooting, and layout
