Job Description
Ability to format and use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Knowledge of accounting and accounting software: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Journal Entries, Balance Sheet and Income Statement, G/L Account Analysis and Bank Reconciliation, Prepare Financials for Tax Accountant (Software: Shoptech E2, Sage or similar program)
Complete and file various State, County and City license renewals, reports, records, etc.
Payroll and Human Resources - posting payroll, deductions and taxes to accounting program, complete various forms and notices for 401k plan & other postings required by government agencies (payroll service calculates checks and taxes)
Insurance renewals and audits.
Set up and maintain job files, vendor purchase orders.
Experience with Government Contracts and websites, manufacturing/aerospace industry
Familiar with Outlook emails and calendar, answering phones, ordering supplies.
Accurate, organized and detail-oriented.
