YOUR MISSION:
You will assist o9 in converting the lead into a customer. Our leads are all over the US so you will need to travel extensively. You need to give presentations and software demo’s to potential customers. As a part of the sales process, you will manage the RFP creation/discovery/platform demonstration building process in-light of the strategic priorities. Attending events, seminars and conventions is a part of your job.
You will:
- Support global presales requirements for qualified leads, from both partners and RFP cycles
- Work with global sales and manage the RFP creation/discovery/platform demonstration building process in-light of the strategic priorities
- Engage with prospects for val leakage analysis, platform demonstrations and discovery sessions
- Work with internal sales/presales, reference demo and services team
- Use the industry demos as a starting point and architect desired incremental workflows in the o9 platform, as per the specific customer and industry needs
- Develop thorough knowledge about the o9 platform and the value proposition
- Lead negotiations with customers in the early stages of the sales process
- Ability to lead and mentor the presales consultants
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and develop credibility with prospects as an expert in the area of planning
- Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain.

- Domain in Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Tier 1 / 2 supply chains
WHAT IS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
- Engaging with partners, networking groups, etc.
- Participation at events (both internal and external).
- Asking for leads/references from existing accounts/contacts
- Attendance at team meetings, proactively helping your colleagues, sharing best practices, etc.
- Tech-savvy, you need to know how to run a software demo - R/Python is a plus
- Proficient use of MS Office package, LinkedIn, Salesforce.com
- Masters in Business Administration or similar
