About the Role:

Join Little Dreamers Learning Center Inc as an Opener/Cook, where you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and fun environment for children. We are looking for a passionate individual to prepare healthy meals and ensure our kitchen is ready for a day of learning and play!

Responsibilities:

Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.

Plan weekly menus in collaboration with the center's nutritionist.

Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies.

Engage with children during meal times to promote healthy eating habits.

Collaborate with staff to support overall center operations.

Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Passion for working with children and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
