    Product Manager, New Markets We’re looking for a talented product manager to help us expand into our newest marketplace. OpenTable has been the leader in restaurant reservations since our founding in 1998, and we’re ready to expand into more dining occasions.

    Your role will straddle our consumer and restaurant product worlds, working closely with product teams on defining and delivering a great experience for diners, while attracting new categories of restaurants to our platform. In conjunction with your engineering and design peers, you will work closely with OpenTable diners, restaurant customers, product managers, product support, marketing and sales to develop products for new markets that deliver scale.


    You’re enthusiastic about software products and energized when leading and working with cross-functional teams solving customer problems toward a long-term objective. You bring a customer-centric approach to your work, and a desire to build your skills as a product manager and visionary. You’re fun and motivated to work on a fast-paced and innovative team.

    The ideal candidate is familiar with the food app landscape from ordering groceries and making reservations to ordering ahead or delivery. You’re great at working collaboratively across the product, design and engineering teams, and know when to use hard power and soft power to get things done in an organization. Experience across consumer and B2B products is a definite plus. You’ll support product ideas and hunches with data when possible, but will know when to follow your instincts if the data isn’t available. You’re focused on shipping product and are always looking to accelerate learning and getting product in front of your users.


    • Quickly understand the restaurant dining space, and OpenTable’s place in it to identify opportunities for growth in the dining market.
    • Understand our existing products for both diners and restaurants, assessing the benefits and opportunities in entering new markets.
    • Build internal relationships and influence shared roadmaps to ensure that the entire org is aligned on product strategy and moving as one toward the objective.
    • Help develop and execute the strategic vision for the new market and meet published targets for metrics that show progress against this vision.


    • 4+ years professional experience in a product management role in hospitality or mobile.
    • Experience in managing agile development processes and lean methodology.
    • Ability to demonstrate creative problem solving, thoughtful product scoping, and flexibility in a fast-moving environment.
    • Demonstrated track record of leading work with cross-functional teams and delivering high quality products on time.
    • Understanding of user centered design principles and customer-centric solutions development.
    • Passion for food is a plus
