Experienced Optician Wanted – Join Our Busy Ophthalmology Practice!

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and experienced optician to join our dynamic ophthalmology team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients, has a passion for eyewear sales, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with frame and lens selection

Accurately bill and process claims for VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, IEHP, and Medicare

Work closely with optical reps to place and track orders

Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records

Travel between our two office locations as needed

Use Compulink EHR for patient records and order management

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an optician in a clinical or retail setting

Strong knowledge of vision insurance billing (VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, IEHP, Medicare)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

Comfortable using EHR systems, especially Compulink
