Join Pac-12 Networks and help lead DevOps at the Conference of Champions. As a DevOps Engineer, you will influence architecture & systems, leading the migration of infrastructure to the cloud. Driving Pac-12 Networks infrastructure as code initiatives, you will be responsible for working in concert with teams across the organization to streamline systems provisioning and management, improve telemetry and performance, optimize deployment processes, and support continuous delivery. Responsibilities

• HHands-onmanagement of cloud solutions running on AWS & GCP
• Deploy infrastructure-as-code initiatives, leveraging your expertise in IT automation solutions, containers, object storage, orchestration, configuration management, continuous deployment, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Automate migration and management of streaming, broadcast, web, and business systems to the cloud.
• Scope & estimate work, engaging with Systems team members to share tasks, and participate in backlog management to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Work with systems team to implement proactive monitoring solutions, managing to uptime and performance KPIs.
• Develop and document best practices for provisioning, application scaling, configuration management, capacity planning, monitoring, and testing to deliver exceptional systems performance in production.
• Serve as primary escalation for all DevOps issues. Collaborate with Technical Operations, Systems, and Maintenance teams to devise multi-tier support procedures.

Qualifications 

• In-depth, hands-on experience with Linux, Windows networking, server, and cloud architectures.
• Solid understanding of how to configure, deploy, manage and maintain large cloud hosted systems; including auto-scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting and disaster recovery.
• Experience with AWS & GCP in a production environment, including:  EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, ELB, CloudWatch, BigQuery, RDS, etc.
• Strong automation skills using any of the following tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, CircleCi, or other continuous deployment solutions
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Fluency in one or more scripting languages, such as: Python, Javascript, or Ruby.
• Experience with mobile deployment and testing tools: TestFlight, HockeyApp, Fastlane or others.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a professional and credible demeanor.
• A strong background in open source technology.
• 3+ years work experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Bonus: experience with technical event support & broadcast equipment support in a live event environment.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
