Job Description
Pace Systems, Inc. is a Comprehensive IT, Security, Electrical, Audio Visual, and Software Solutions located in Naperville, IL. We're currently seeking Help Desk Support for a client located in Chicago, IL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Travel to Client Sites Required
- Hyde Park, North Shore, Harvey
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
- Track customer issues and resolutions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
- A+ Certification Preferred
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
Essential Duties
- Provides resolution for escalated service tickets
- Works with clients to evaluate and solve technical problems
- Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement system changes
- Configures and supports internal and/or external networks
- Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
- Troubleshoots network performance
- Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
- Maintains a log of completed work using an incident-tracking application
