Responsibilities
As a part of the team you will be responsible for helping to keep
developers connected to the technologies, resources and communities that
enable them to build innovative security solutions as well as
prototyping the same.
Ideal candidates will have a strong, hands on, background and will have
implemented automated solutions at scale on public and or private cloud
infrastructure. You will work closely with external parties and will be
their advocate for issues that require assistance from the HQ. You will
also be responsible for finding innovative ways that integrate 3rd party
solutions with Palo Alto Networks Platform. Some travel is required.
International travel will also be required as necessary.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands on experience with one or more of the 3 major public cloud
providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
- Programming experience in one or equivalent languages: Python,
Node.js, Python, Go,
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Experience working directly with partners and customers.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, QA, professional
services, product management, customer support and IT.
- Experience presenting and conducting workshops.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the above.
Strongly desired
- Hands on experience with containers, networking, and Kubernetes in
particular
- Experience as a software developer/engineer, developer relations
advocate, network/information security engineer/analyst.
- Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) solutions.
- Experience with the Palo Alto Networks security platform.
