Operating in a fast-paced environment, the Sr. IT Business Analyst
(Procurement) works with business and IT leaders in defining the
requirements needed to support ‘procure to pay’ in our growing
operations organization. Your expert skills in transforming defined
processes into specifications or user stories for software developers
will lead to successfully support the needs of both external and
internal procurement and supply chain functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engages in business processes framework including sourcing, Contract
Management, Procurement, Vendor Management
- Review and implement automation solutions within the compliance
framework of the company, leveraging Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Review User Business requirements and map to system capabilities
identify gaps and work with the business to build functional
solutions, develop and monitor testing strategies, and ensure
resolution of any issues
- Develop functional specifications for systems, changes and provide
IT feedback to business partners (timing, budget,
technical feedback)
- Work closely with the technical development team to ensure accurate
and timely code that matches the designs
- Define testing strategies, consolidate test requirements from
stakeholder, ensure all testing environments are setup when
integrated solutions are to be tested and drive Functional Unit
Testing of the solution including resolution of identified issues
- Review Testing scripts for comprehensiveness, for example, to ensure
accuracy of Integration and regression testing efforts
- Participate in the development of production user documentation
- Lead scrum meetings with developer team, Business team and
stakeholders
- Provide support to ease adoption of the new enhancements and ongoing
production support
REQUIREMENTS
- Solid understanding of the full end to end procurement process &
systems in a global environment including Indirect Supplier
Management & Onboarding, , Purchase Order Management, Procurement
Contracts and reporting
- Experience in software evaluation for procurement/supply chain
functions is required to drive the overall strategy and roadmap
- Hands on Experience Implementing and working with
Procurement/Contract Management solutions like Coupa, Ariba or other
Procurement SAAS tools
- Hands on experience working with larger ERP solutions and
integrations with procurement platforms, SAP Preferred
- Experience with vendor master configuration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment including ability to
manage multiple priorities from various internal customers
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong Project Management leadership and project solving skills
- Must be well organized with strong ability to multi task
- Problem identification and timely resolution
- 5-8 years’ hands-on functional and configuration experience
including integration points with Procurement Platforms
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
