Global Protect Cloud Service (GPCS) is Palo Alto Networks cloud service of next generation security. It uses cutting edge public and private cloud technologies extending the next generation security protection to all cloud services, customers on-premise remote networks and mobile users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in software design and implement of Global Protect Cloud Service features.
• Working with QA team to provide high quality feature deliveries and releases
• Working with DevOps and Technical Support team to troubleshooting customer issues
• Working with other software development teams to apply PanOS features on GPCS

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High energy and can-do attitude working on fast pace environment
• Team working spirit, like to working with lots of different teams
• Fast learner and eager to absorb new emerging technologies
• Solid programming skills in Python and C, Javascript is plus
• Cloud experience or knowledge, such as AWS, Azure, GCE, Kubernetes are plus
• Virtualization, such as ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V experience or knowledge are plus
• Networking, Routing experience or knowledge is a plus
• Firewall, IPSec, SSL, VPN experience or knowledge is a plus
• SDN (Software Defined Network) experience or knowledge is a plus
• SQL or NoSQL database experience or knowledge is a plus
• M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
