    Palo Alto Networks continues to build a world-class product management organization and is looking for a Services Product Manager. This role is focused on building out enterprise-grade service offerings for our customers, including support, professional services, and educational services.     Palo Alto Networks is a dramatically growing company and we have to make strategic decisions about how we scale out our service offerings across a global customer base. As the Services Product Manager, you will examine key areas such as premium service levels, on-site support, bundled deployment services, and on/off-shore staffing. You will also be responsible for driving any product enhancements necessary to improve our current capabilities or enable us to deliver net new offerings.

    In addition to your own creativity, you will rely on interaction with customers and partners to understand requirements and needs.  You will be expected to define and deliver competitive service offerings that help provide a more complete product experience for our customers. Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing to create product related sales and marketing materials and evangelizing the services both internally and externally.

     Responsibilities

    • Product ownership for Palo Alto Networks service offerings
    • Licensing and pricing models for support and subscriptions
    • Policies for RMAs, licensing grace periods, and product end-of-life
    • Product enhancements to support channel partner programs
    • Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, pricing, and positioning
    • Ability to work effectively with all areas of the organization, from support to sales
    • Customer engagement and relationship development for services evangelism, and requirements gathering`

    Requirements

    • Strong desire to take ownership of the service offerings
    • Drive to identify unique and improved ways to meet the customer needs
    • Experience being part of or working with a global vendor support organization
    • Strong domain expertise in network security service offerings
    • Previous work with channel partners including service providers and value added resellers
    • Minimum 3-5 years in product management or equivalent
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Demonstrable track record of success

    Education

    • BS/MS or equivalent experience required
