Check us out! plank servers and hosts have the responsibility of providing impeccable Guest service in the dining rooms, bars and bowling area, as well as enhancing the overall Guest experience. The goal of plank servers is to connect with Guests to build relationships and provide friendly, attentive, fun and knowledgeable service. Duties and Responsibilities: Take food and beverage orders with a positive attitude and ensure accuracy by repeating the order to Guests. Check identification of Guests for legal age verification in conjunction with alcohol purchases. Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner and ensure that all food and beverages are maintaining exceptional standards of quality and freshness. Maintain thorough knowledge of all food and menus and remain proactive in staying current on all new menu items and specials. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Point of Sale (POS) system, accept payment and provide accurate change or receipt in a timely manner. Prepare tables and lanes for new Guests in a timely manner. Continue to follow service guidelines during busy and distracting periods. Use empowerment to handle Guest concerns and dissatisfaction and ensure resolution by following up with the Guest. Promote the entertainment options of the venue. Ensure all equipment is in complete working order. Report any issues to Management immediately. Report all safety concerns to Management immediately. Complete all assigned side work, including on-going side work and specific cleaning assignments. *All other duties as assigned by management Skills/Experience: High school diploma or GED Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment (preferred) Be a team player with the willingness and ability to assist as needed in other departments. Basic math and computer skills A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with other Team Members Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol Strong task and time management abilities COVID-19 precautions Personal protective equipment provided or required Social distancing guidelines in place Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place To keep our Team Members and Guests as safe as possible we ask that everyone wear face coverings, wash hands thoroughly and regularly, and we are following all recommended federal, state and local guidelines for capacity and social distancing.
