    Your Role

    We want you to help shape the future of robotics with us. You will be leading our development efforts for 3D depth perception, working with an  integrated depth-sensing camera that gives our robots an understanding of their surroundings. We segment, classify and train on the bleeding-edge of 3D depth perception and want your expertise to further develop our algorithms and build out a team of world-class engineers.

    Requirements

    • Ph.D., M.S. + 3 years experience, or B.S. + 5 years experience in a related field
    • Proven work history with machine learning algorithms and open-source frameworks.
      • Supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning approaches
      • 2D image, video, or 3D data a plus
    • Highly skilled in C++ and associated CV open-source libraries. Python a plus.
    • Team-first workplace culture. Challenging problems can’t be tackled alone.

    Preferred Skills

    • History of training and deploying machine learning algorithms at scale
    • Experience with popular cloud compute platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
    • Experience with depth cameras and point cloud data
    • Experience with robotics
    • Experience working on a software team using common software version control tools and sane development practices
