    codeSpark is turning programing into play for kids everywhere. We’re building the largest community of young kid creators in the world. Our award-winning app codeSpark Academy has a unique word-free interface that allows kids as young as four to become makers. We have a strong focus on making codeSpark Academy exciting for both girls and boys.

    As an essential member of the marketing team, you will understand the customer journey for codeSpark teachers and parents from first touch and well beyond. The Community Manager will be the advocate for codeSpark users within the company, and help foster and grow our community through support, content, and events.


    Responsibilities:

    • Work with Marketing and Product teams to create content strategies around new product launches including release notes, blogs, email, push notifications, social media posts and community events.
    • Plan and execute community events to drive engagement.
    • Manage Teacher programs to foster and grow Teacher audience.
    • Socialize insights and act as an advocate for teacher and parent concerns to Marketing and Product teams.
    • Manage updates to codeSpark curriculum, including new content releases and translations.
    • Assist Marketing and Product teams in user research.
    • Own reporting on customer service and social media metrics.
    • Execute strategy to increase App Store reviews, as well as respond to reviews on the App Store and Google Play.
    • Help plan and execute events at conferences and with non-profit partners.
    • Act as a resource to BD/Partnerships team.
    • Responsible for contests/giveaways and managing merchandise store.
    • Respond to inbound customer support tickets.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent written communication skills. Writing sample required.
    • Excellent customer service skills and high level of empathy for our users.
    • 2+ years of experience working in a customer support or community management role.
    • Social media savvy. Experience creating engaging content on platforms such as Facebook.
    • Ability to execute complex projects with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to design tests and measure outcomes.
    • Experience working in education or with B2C parenting products a plus.
