    Job Description

    We are looking for a Zephyr Administrator (Enterprise, Scale) to join our team in working with the Platform Engineering organization of a leading US telecom client. The focus of this role is to deploy and configure the SmartBear Zephyr for test case management, integrate the platform with existing tooling, and assist in the migration of test cases from a legacy MicroFocus Octane platform.

    This is a remote (in the U.S.) position, 1099 contract for 4 - 5 months.

    Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities range from Zephyr's initial deployment and configuration through project migration and onboarding, including:

    • Deploy and configure Zephyr Scale within a Jira environment or Zephyr Enterprise with two-way integration to Jira.
    • Integrate Zephyr with enterprise authentication technologies.
    • Customize Zephyr Roles, Projects, and Test Cases based on an understanding of existing legacy environments and best practices.
    • Create onboarding methodology for new teams into Zephyr.
    • Perform Migration from legacy test case management product (MicroFocus Octane) to Zephyr, including data and custom field management.
    • Act as an SME on Zephyr best practices for enterprise-wide usage, common integrations, systems management, etc.
    • Produce documentation in customer format to be used to drive Zephyr administration and usage moving forward.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
    • Must have prior Zephyr administration experience.
    • Must have experience with Zephyr best practices when integrated with (Enterprise) or run in Jira (Scale).
    • Must be able to design data models and make recommendations based on best practices and legacy tool usage.
    • Ambitious and highly motivated to deliver outstanding solutions with a hunger to understand the full architecture of systems and stay on top of current industry trends.
    • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Should be flexible to understand the technology dynamics and be adaptable using assigned tools/technologies.
    • Candidate should have an assertive personality and be able to elaborate on personal experiences throughout the process.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with test case management migrations from Octane to Zephyr
