Job Category
We are looking for an exceptionally intelligent, talented and
enthusiastic Senior Online Media Product Manager to add to our team.
This is a high visibility/high impact role that will manage, enhance,
and improve monetization and merchandizing for our web properties and
our call center portal in our Education vertical.
Responsibilities
- Working with a cross-functional team of developers, site managers,
and designers to deliver new products user flows to improve user
engagement and monetization across our network of 100+ websites
- Not only identifying high-growth and high-revenue opportunities, but
taking the lead on executing them, measuring them and optimizing
their performance across the portfolio
- Managing the creation, launch and roll out of new technology
products that improve performance, efficiency & scalability of our
site portfolio
- Developing a suite of reporting dashboards and analyses to improve
our understanding of the performance of our sites and the ROI on our
efforts
- Interface with cross-functional teams (client managers, engineers,
creative, data analysts) and become a resource for other business
managers
Qualifications
- BA/BS required in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or
related
- MBA preferred
- A keen business acumen as it relates to prioritization and revenue
optimization
- Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to translate
findings into strategic implications
- Strong excel & data analysis skills and a willingness to "get your
hands dirty" with data
- Ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines across
cross-functional groups while keeping all stakeholders involved in a
fast-paced environment
- An interest in natural search space and helping to create
destination sites on the web
- Exceptional creativity and ability to "push the envelope" in the
pursuit of unrealized opportunities
- Initiative, a sense of urgency, and a "can do" attitude; enthusiasm
for challenges and strong work ethic
- Outstanding record of achievement, ambition and drive
- SEO experience a strong plus
- A/B testing/conversion rate optimization experience a strong plus
