    QuinStreet is looking for a top notch full stack Java Developer to join our team in our Edmond, OK location. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for Web development, Java and a penchant for leadership. Can you influence design decisions and work cross functionally with category business directors, designers, QA teams, and platform product development teams? If yes, then you are what we are looking for! In this role, you will impact the fast growing online media space. You will play a vital support role within one of our business verticals by developing new applications and enhancing existing ones. You will provide innovation and improvement to further optimize our business.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Full stack design & development for line of business applications used for analytical data and dashboard reporting

    • Hands on coding and unit testing

    • Work closely with business users and act as liaison between company headquarters and remote technical teams

    • Analyze and design new features and functionalities for ongoing product releases

    • QA support and production support.

    • Handle performance and scalability issues

     

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    • 3-4 years of hands-on software development experience in Java
    • Expertise in working with J2EE technologies including EJB and JDBC
    • Proficiency with building modern web apps using the latest design paradigms (MVC, MVVM, SPA) and technologies/frameworks (angular, react, aurelia).
    • Familiarity with client-side html control and charting libraries (D3, dx, flot, bootstrap)
    • Hands-on experience with web application architecture
    • Experience with object oriented analysis and design concepts and design patterns.
    • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with a RDBMS like Oracle
    • Experience working with standard data serialization formats (json, xml).
    • Understanding and demonstrated adaptation of cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility concerns
    • Good experience with application servers like JBoss and Tomcat.
    • Experience working in a UNIX and/or LINUX environment
    • Ability to grasp common key performance metrics and their applications
    • Struts, Hibernate and Spring experience a plus.
