The Senior Account Manager sells and markets the company’s dynamic line of products and services to both existing larger customers($2M+ annual revenue size customer and or an averaged size account deck of $3M +)and prospective new clients through direct or indirect sales activity. They retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts and prospective new clients.The Senior Account Manager sells and supports the company’s complete product and service offering to an assigned set of named accounts. They also develop and implement sales plans that provide clearly defined strategies, tactics,and timeframes to maximize revenue.Focusing on customers and prospective new clients with high-value, strategic growth opportunity, the Senior Account Manager’s most important customer interactions are face-to-face meetings augmented by the use of the company’s virtual tools.The Senior Account Manager closes sales deals and meets or exceeds quota.
<p<pRetain existing clients and foster new opportunities with existing client base --
Manage an account base including upsell and cross selling new products and services in the existing base and provide full service following point of sale
Achieve base account sales goals set by management
Partner with Sales Support team(s) and execute coordination activities internally to handle client issues and various client needs
Conduct information sessions, set up presentations, lead discussions, and demo services with clients to provide information on services available
Analyze and understand the client needs to successfully determine the appropriate solution
Act as a consultant to clients on current product offering.
May work with international region counterparts as needed to manage and upsell a global account
Communicate with clients on a regular basis to build rapport and ensure satisfaction with services purchased.
Communicate with client on the status of issue until resolution is determined.
Develop and maintain account plans for top client.
Achieve assigned monthly face to face meeting goals with prospective new and existing clients (frequent travel is a requirement)
Acquire new business through hunting activities --
Generate prospective customers for new business sales
Achieve new sales growth goals (monthly, quarterly, and annual sales) set by management
Distribute sales information, business cards, and promotional information to prospective customers
Cold call prospective customers. Some prospects may include assigned accounts
Identify key decision makers for each prospective customer
Discern needs to identify prospective customers’ requirements
Present information to prospective customers using marketing materials
Document results of meetings
Follow up with prospective customers within a week of any meeting and return customer calls to answer questions and provide information
Achieve Weekly prospective client interactions and assigned monthly face to face meeting goals with prospective new and existing clients (frequent travel is a requirement)
