    Are you trustworthy, kind, energetic, cool-under pressure, and self-motivated -- taking responsibility & ownership while holding others accountable? redbox+ is now hiring a full time (salary + bonuses) Site Manager to lead operations, as well as perform yard management and shift driving.

    We’re not a typical waste service. In addition to standard roll-off dumpsters, redbox+ holds a patented design for a combination portable toilet and dumpster making our containers the most efficient and innovative in the market.

    redbox+ of Orange County is a small, family owned business that exists to offer exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for an adept manager who manages time effectively, loves logistics and thrives at problem-solving.

    The best fit for this role will develop relationships with drivers as well as customers, manage and schedule driver’s shifts, take ownership of the fleet, and know how to operate all equipment with skill. Other aspects of the role include coordinating truck maintenance, yard improvements, customer prospecting, etc.

    Available to support a flex schedule including many Saturdays.

    Duties

    Keep drivers on task / on track

    Handle driver issues / challenges (situations where driver is unable to drop a bin or needs technical assistance)

    Driving – Site Manager will routinely perform shifts as a roll-off dumpster driver.

    Hiring – interviewing / onboarding and managing drivers

    First-in, Last-out – typically the Ops Manager will kick off the driver team for the day, lead safety meetings, provide updates, etc.

    Ensure the fleet is always ready to go!

    Ensure the yard is clean & organized

    Order Supplies & equipment; ensuring employees have what they need

    Handy – able to perform Light maintenance / maintenance issues, etc.

    Coordinate Truck Inspections (e.g. California BIT)

    Maintain DMV & municipal / County permits or tasks

    Identify and establish relationships with new tipping sites (for debris disposal)

    Sales calls – make sales visits to local construction / industrial contractors

    Skills

    CDL Class A/B Driving experience (experience with roll-offs is desired)

    Management / leadership skills & experience

    Ability to motivate and encourage team members

    Self-starter – taking initiative to get the big and little things done

    Municipal interface for local permits /licenses

    Develop additional tipping sites

    Qualifications

    • Past management / leadership experience desired

    • 5+ years Commercial Driving experience with Valid/Current Class B CDL

    • Must provide current vehicle driver’s license, medical and access to driving record

    • Pass a background check & drug tests before and during employment
