IMPORTANT: EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH THE FULL SUITE OF THE UKG WORKFORCE READY (FORMERLY KRONOS WORKFORCE READY) HRIS IS A CRITICAL AND REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE. EXPERIENCE LIMITED TO UKG TIMEKEEPING OR OTHER HRIS OR PAYROLL PLATFORMS IS NOT SUFFICIENT.
This remote position is especially well-suited for people in the Eastern Standard time-zone.

About the Position:
You will directly serve our clients as a Payroll Specialist (known internally as a Client Success Advocate). This means you are the first line of joy and empowerment! You are the ultimate day-maker! You are the “go-to” for the client as it relates to Payroll Administration. You are proactive in your approach and absolutely love to problem-solve. You love a defined process, but are always looking for ways to improve the client’s experience. You are a subject matter expert on payroll and the UKG Workforce Ready HRIS and are hungry to learn more.
This is a fully remote role where you will be available Monday through Friday during regular business hours in order to best serve our clients.
Here’s the more traditional list of duties, traits and experience we seek in a Client Success Advocate:
Responsibilities
Provides excellent front-line service to our clients and their employees.
Serves as the lead and liaison between HR, external vendors, plan admins, and other stakeholders to create an efficient and effective operational experience related to the HRIS and associated payroll administration.
Process multiple client payrolls (located throughout the United States) according to their unique payroll schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, off-cycle).
Ensures compliance with federal, state and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices.
Ensure all payroll transactions are processed correctly for time, earnings, benefits, deductions, taxes, garnishments, etc.
Partner effectively with client stakeholders to record and process any needed changes to each individual pay cycle.
Verify and audit employee changes submitted in HRIS in a timely and accurate manner.
Investigate and resolve payroll issues and problems with the urgency required to resolve them effectively.
Effectively communicates via phone, slack, messenger, email and/or other preferred methods of client communication.
Participates in client’s new employee onboarding processes and ensures positive new hire experiences with our team and the HRIS.
Effectively and compassionately field and resolve employee payroll questions within our client response-time commitment.
Help develop and adhere to scalable practices and processes related to payroll administration.
Empower clients with knowledge and skills needed to scale their businesses effectively related to payroll administration.
Coordinates annual audit prep as requested/required by individual clients (payroll, benefits, workers comp, etc).
Coordinates year-end process to insure timely prep and delivery of W2’s
Knows the HRIS inside and out and is able to easily troubleshoot both internal and client issues.
Regularly reviews client accounts for optimization to ensure absolute client-satisfaction.
Consistently coordinates with our partners, payroll services bureau, external vendors to ensure positive, sound, and trusted relationships.

Experience/Knowledge
In-depth experience with UKG Workforce Ready, preferably including implementation experience as well as full use of the HRIS.
Experience with the UltiPro version of UKG could be helpful if it is in addition to the Kronos Workforce Ready experience.
5+ years of related experience, preferably in a multi-client or large multi-location company environment.
Able to manage the full catalog of HR administrative duties independently
Must have multi-state payroll experience.
Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA and other applicable laws related to employee leave, disability, payroll and benefits required.
Preference given to CPP certified candidates.
Knowledge of business processes associated with HR.
3+ years experience in direct client and end-user support.
Experience using a client relationship management (CRM) platform.
Demonstrated examples of process improvement executions.
Experience as a team player willing to play a pivotal role in the overall success of the company.
Preference given to spanish speaking bilingual candidates
