Job Description

We are looking for an Event Specialist Back-Up in the Charlottesville, VA area!

Our Back-Up Event Specialist will be required to attend a paid training call one day this coming weekend. They will arrive on the event day at 7AM and help with event set-up until 9AM. If our primary Event Specialist is on-site and there are no issues, back-up will be dismissed at 9AM. If there is an emergency or no-show by the primary Event Specialist, then the Back Up will be expected to work the entire day 7AM-9PM. The back-up should be able to keep their day open incase they are needed on-site for the full event.

On-site primary Event Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Encouraging event-goers to play fun, interactive games-Handing out promotional items like shirts, hats, flyers, etc. 
• Setting up tables / stanchions / event items
• Carrying things during setup and teardown times (up to 50 pounds)-Helping take photos 
• Securing one additional brand ambassador to work as a paid back up, incase the event needs additional support. 
  

We are open to submissions from anywhere in the Charlottesville, VA area. This is primarily a local job, so travel allowances are not typically included.
