We are currently seeking a Database Engineer responsible to support all aspects of the design, development and delivery of data and database solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within a small team of database engineers and collaborating with the larger technology organization within a quickly growing, start-up environment.

ABOUT YOU:

• Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
• Experience: 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Deep knowledge and understanding of various RDBMS concepts and techniques.
• Advanced SQL Server design and coding skills
• Write and analyze complex T-SQL code. Understand and interpret the details of query execution plans and code and can tune query performance based on these results.
• Build, analyze and interpret data models. Understands the concepts behind normalization and denormalization.
• Experience with Microsoft SSRS.
• Understanding of data warehouse strategies and applications.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work collaboratively and excels in a rapid iteration environment with short turnaround times.
• Proficient with agile development methodology.
